On any trip to Paris, you’re guaranteed to leave with dozens (okay, hundreds) of photos. But how many of them are actually worthy of a frame? If you fancy a family Christmas card to rival the best of them this year, or just want some cool snaps for social media (hey, there’s no shame in it), then this photo-walk, hosted by PARISCityVISION, is just the thing. The concept is pretty simple: a professional photographer follows you around with a camera for three hours, taking your picture with the most iconic sights of Paris in the background. The best part? Along the way your photographer will take you to striking, photogenic places that (unless you’re a Parisian native) you just wouldn’t find on your own. You’ll come away with new memories and 200 digital photos, expertly angled and beautifully framed to show off your best side. On this day, of all days, remember to iron your shirt.
About your guide
Founded in 1929, PARISCityVISION is one of the oldest players in the French tourism game. The team is all about sharing quintessential Parisian moments with travellers; ones that they’ll look back on, wistfully, for years to come.
Here’s the plan…
Meet your photographer at Place Colette. From there, they’ll walk you to the Palais Royal Gardens. It’s the only garden in Paris classified as ‘remarkable’ by the French Ministry of Culture, so you’re bound to get a good snap or two here. You’ll pause for a portrait by Buren’s Columns, a living piece of modern art – favoured by fashion photographers for its striking graphic vibe – which works in playful contrast to the historic surrounds.
By the way, if (like us) you’re not necessarily a natural in front of the camera – don’t worry. Your photographer is a true pro. They know just how to make you look like your best, most happy self in portrait form.
After Buren’s Columns, you’ll stroll to the Louvre. Following some photos by the pyramids, you’ll move on to the nearby Tuileries Garden, beloved for its old-world feel. Many snaps later, your photographer leads you to Place de la Concorde, the largest (and arguably the most breathtaking) public square in Paris. Here, you’ll trial a few more poses.
Walking down the Champs-Élysées, you'll pass in front of two architectural masterpieces, the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais, where you and your photographer will pause for another round of pictures. And what is a Parisian photoshoot without some snaps by the River Seine? It’s time to cross the Pont Alexandre III and yes, take a few more photos.
Stopping by the magnificent Hôtel des Invalides on the way, your photographer will lead you on to the final, and – lets be honest – best location of the day: the Eiffel Tower. A strong finish, wouldn’t you say? After striking poses with the one and only, your photographer will pass over the memory card from the day, containing 200 stunning digital photographs. Don’t upload them all at once.

No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other devices.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.
This is a private tour and can be shifted around depending on participant’s preferences and time constraints. So, if you already have a satisfactory amount of photos by the Seine or the Eiffel, speak up! Your photographer is happy to spend more or less time at a certain location to get the pictures you’re after. On this experience, it’s all about you.
Shooting in a group? Your model posse can be no larger than four, we’re afraid.
